Sports Update

The third Cricket test against England ended up a draw with Australian batsmen holding out for the last day. England needed 1 wicket with 24 balls to go, Australia was down to its last 2 batsmen Glenn McGrath and Brett Lee who held out the old enemy to salvage the draw after Australian Capitan Ricky Ponting scored 150 odd with the bat. The 4th Test starts in 9 days at Trent Bridge.

Aussie golfer Steve Elkington finished 2nd behind Phil Mickelson in the USPGA championships at baultsroul, He had already won the PGA in 1995.

Collingwood lost again this time to the old enemy Carlton to still leave us on 5 wins and 15 losses for the season, if we fail to win a again we will receive a priority Draft pick in the November national draft. Any AFL team who does not win more than 5 games receives a draft pick prior to the other teams being able to pick.
