My shed has always been a bain of contention between myself and Rebecca. Rebecca wanted a car and i wanted the shed so as she always says "you always get what you want". The shed was always there but it was like an open car port with a wall at the back. So it was built into a room. In the room now is a futon, bar, pool table, tv, stereo . Along with that the walls are adorned with beer banners, sports memorabilia and the roof covered wit beer placards. A true man cave and shed if there every was one.The shed was not just my man cave but it was to also be a place for friends to stay if we have guests from out of town and a place to entertain as our house is pretty small. Over the last few years as space has become a premium in our house due to kids and just the general amassing of shit that you collect my shed started to feel the brunt of this .Over time as the kids got more clothes and more clothes the old started to head to the shed. At its peak it probably contained 20 plus boxes of clothes plus shoes and all the other kids stuff that had past its used by date. Now my wife bless her and i love her but she has a slight problem with throwing clothes out.Thankfully her friend hayley persuaded her it was time to get rid of them. So slowly over the last month my shed has been in a transformation a bit like wheat turning into beer my shed has slowly gained its inner glow back and as of yesterday there is no more kids stuff in it and its returned to looking like the drinking den it was meant to be. Must say i am very proud of my wife for getting rid of it all and now just one thing left is to get her to agree to sell the rocking chair she used to beast feed in.

The Neighbours

About 12 months ago we had new neighbours move in one house up the road. They looked like a normal family around our age with 3 sons. There youngest son was going to same kingergarden as willow. Thats where i first meet Hayley and her son Connor. Soon willow was going there on occasions to play. Rebecca and Hayley have become very close friends over the last 12 months which is very good for Bec as she does not really have many close friends and the friends that she does have live in different towns and she oftens feels let down by them. Rebecca puts gerself out there for her friends by going to see them and keeping in touch but often wonders if she did not make the effort they wouldn't.So in turn with Bec being friends with Hayley i have also struck up a friendship with the husband Dale. We have been fishing a few times and seem to be regually having a bbq and getting on the piss with the nice summer nights. I must say my alcohol consumption has increased with this. I guess what i am trying say is that its nice to have neighbours our age with the same interests that are easy going that we get along with and not have to chase people up to get together its just very easy. It looked like they where going to move to Perth the other side of the country a month or so ago but i think thats been shelved. Bec would have been shattered and i would have lost a drinking and fishing mate.

well i am back two posts in two weeks. Well work these days finds me working in disability support. I work at 4 different places George Gray Centre which is day placement like school for people with disabilities, Yooralla and E.w Tipping which are residential units for them to live in and Vista who have independent clients that live on there own but just need some guidance.

Alot of people say to me that it must be very rewarding to do that sort of work.I never really think of it that way though i got evolved when i needed a job so to me it was just a job. I like the job that i do and if that make a person with a disability happy then so be it i have done a good job. I am pretty lucky in the fact that i dont have alot of high needs clients that need bathing and toileting. Alot of the activities i do with them are recreational i go swimming, bike riding, fishing, go for a drive have a BBQ, Go the movies things like that. The money is pretty good well better than being a slave to Gerry harvey at Harvey Norman selling beds and shite like that.

wow well over 12 months since i have posted anything on here. The need to blog these days is gone facebook has washed a massive wave over the blogging planet making it very un needed to communicate with friends. Blogging was like a revelation at the start i totally enjoyed writting posts and putting up pictures.But blogging like facebook does not allow you tell the real truth often because of the the people who are attached to your pages reading your every word may be the ones you dont want reading what you really want to say. If anyone out there reads this drop me a comment i would love to know if there are any people left in blogger land. Maybe now is a good time to start blogging again since no one close to me is still reading it.!!

Hi all well yes i am still alive and so is the family its been nearly 12 months since i blogged. Facebook and other social networks seems to have made blogging obsolete, its alot easier to let people know what is going in your life. Since its been so long no one probably reads it anymore but hay.

The girls are growing up very fast with Willow turning 5 this year, how crazy is that she will be off to school next year. Marley well she is nearly 2 and into everything she is just plain made. Into absolutely everything a one baby wrecking machine who keeps both bec and i eternally busy.

Have over the last 12 months been getting together some camping equipment as i have wanted to take the girls camping. Well a couple of weeks ago we went on our first camping trip to Buchan Caves. I had to borrow a trailer off a mate to fit everything in but we got there ok. We camped out for 3 nights with some friends and had a ball. It was a great place to stay and there was lots of wildlife. Kangaroo's and possums everywhere especially at night. The possums would come around our camp and eat the food scraps. Planning another camping trip later in the year after our Wedding.

Four days after we bought Shastar home willow dropped her and broke her toes so off to the vet and about $250 later she was home with the cast on.

Well once again its been over 3 months since my last post.
I think the advent of Facebook has stopped a lot of people's need for having a blog when you can post short notes on there and all your friends are linked. Technology moves on again!!.

Marley turned one the end of last month, 12 months gone already it has flown by. She walks, waddles and generally brings havoc and mess to the household everyday.

Well 3 months since my last post i have really let this get away from me. I think the personal blog is dying quick these days with the advent of facebook and twitter ect. Everyone can know what you are doing by just logging onto there. I must admit i have had lots of fun with this blog and i will endevour to keep posting and post more regualr here.

Easter has come and gone again for another year we spent part of it in lakes Entrance at my parents house. Rebecca and i had some time to sneak off to the Water Wheel tavern in lake Tyers for a pint or 2 of Guinness. Its just such a great pub on the foreshore of the lake over looking the ocean. The night we where out there there where some people out in the middle of the lake letting off fireworks. I mean good fireworks too not little ones big big suckers that lit the lake up and echoed around the valley it was excellent.

Been buying some camping gear, got a tent yesterday its a beauty 9 person dome tent. We plan on doing some camping in the summer months with some friend who are also keen to do it. I think it will be good for the girls to experience camping in there childhood. When i was little i have some very fond memories of family camping trips to Wilson's Promotory, Lakes Entrance and even one to Sydney. In todays hard economic times it makes sence to go camping. Its cheaper way cheaper , you can probably get a camp site for 5 days for what it would cost you for one night at an apartment or a flat. Even cheaper if you bush costs you nothing to camp. Bec being FEMALE though says we cant go anywhere where there is no toilet ,i told her take a shovel and dig a hole. Anyway willow and i are going to set the tent up Saturday night and camp out in the backyard just to see how it goes and make sure all the parts are there, she is really excited about it.

Kids are doing fine marley is standing up and trying walk in bits but she is so fast moving around you have to watch her all the time.

Hi
It has been a long time. Mark has been struggling to find things to write about lately so he has asked me to finally do a post! We are all doing great. I had my 30th birthday party on Saturday night (my birthday is on 25th December) and had a great time! We had old Harvey Norman friends there and some of my playgroup friends there as well. I got absolutely spoilt by everyone, especially my friend Emily, her partner Andrew and their wonderful kids Tye and Imogen. She even got me a cake, the first that is not at all associated with christmas in afew years! Everyone needs friends like them. It was also nice that some friends that we have not seen in awhile came as well. We had some problems awhile back and it seems to be sorted now, which is great!

Well onto my babies. Willow is getting ready to start 3's kinder in February. We have been shopping for some things for her and I think she is very excited. I'm more on the scared side. It has come so fast and I just thought that it wouldn't. I know that I am going to cry on the first day and she is going to just wave goodbye and have a great time! Marley, well she is just unstoppable! She's commando crawling all over the place. She thinks she is pretty special when she gets into Willow's room and Willow is listening to one of her Hi-5 C.D's. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth! Willow swears she is dancing and loves it! The only problem is she is so quick and she's discovered the two holes in our bathroom floor an heads straight for them. So now we have to have the door shut which is a problem for Willow!

This warm weather has been hard on Marley, she doesn't seem to deal well with it. But she is a water baby! We took both the girls down to the pool and she is more than happy to paddle around the baby pool in her floater! Because she can touch the bottom she can push off and go wherever she likes! Willow loves it too. We are finally seeing the benefits of having her in swimming lessons for nearly 2 years! She is very confident but sometimes too confident.

Mark and I have not been up to much. He has just been working and playing golf. Some people have the life! If he is not playing golf he's talking to his golf "boyfriends", watching golf or unfortunately crapping on to me about bloody golf. I am now officially a golf widow!I am supposed to be going back to work at the start of next month but I am thinking of leaving it till later. Marley is still feeding so I will re-assess it in a couple more months. There's no hurry, plus because she is my last baby I want to spend as much time with her as possible, she's grown so fast!

Anyway hope this finds you all well and having a great new year so far! I will try to post more things more often or give some ideas to Mark!

Well the silly season has come and gone again and we have it all to look forward to again this year.

I had to work on Christmas day for a few hours which was ok it was pretty busy so time went fast. It was from 2.00pm till 5.30pm so it was mid afternoon and i still got to have Christmas lunch and dinner with our respective families. The Anderson's for Lunch and the Wyld's for dinner.The kids got plenty of presents as one would expect. Willow seems more keen to play with marley's toys than her own.

On the 27th we went down to Seaspray for the afternoon to see Scott and rachel as they where camping down there again this year. It was not a very good day sun was out but it was windy. Willow was very keen to go in the ocean. We went down there and there was a channel when you first get in there about 3 foot deep and about 10 foot wide then a very shallow sand bar about a foot deep. Willow was fine until she wanted to chase a wave in and fell into the deeper channel. And that was it she was out of there in a flash and used one of her favorite saying "I don't think thats a good Idea!". Spent the afternoon down there having some beers and chatting.

Went to lakes Entrance on New Years eve and had a BBQ at my parents house. My sister and brother where there. We stayed and watched the kids fireworks at 9.30pm and then drove back to maffra arriving back at 11.35. Got the children into bed and asleep waited till the clock struck 12 and we where in bed by 12.03am 1st january 2009. It was probably the quietest New Years Eve i have spent since turning 18.

Some hot weather has finally struck in the New years had a few days over 30 in the last few weeks. We took willow out swimming the blue pools near Briagolong on Tuesday she loved it its a beautiful spot out in the bush with a great fresh water swimming hole.

I have to work all weekend this week which sucks but hay a man has to make a living some how i guess but i could think of better ways to do it but hay it allows me plenty of time to spend with my girls and even allows the odd game or two of golf every week.

Heading back to Yarram today to play golf again as i will miss Maffra golf tommorow. Looking forward to takling Yarram again and this time coming out on top of it.

Going to Melbourne Tommorow on the train with my Rebecca and the kids plus Rosie, Steven and my Mum we are taking the kids to show them the Christmas windows at Myer in the city and do some last minute Christmas shopping. My mate Detmar in Munich has been asking for a polo top with Melbourne on it so i will finally get the chance to buy him one.It will be the first time i have travelled to melbourne on the train since i was a teenager and its quiet cheap if you have concession only $17 return.

I have to work a few hours on Christmas day from 2 till 5.30 which is not too bad as i still get to have Christmas lunch and Dinner but i am straight back there boxing day morning at 4am but hay what can one do when you work at a business that is open 365 days of the year and 20 hours a day they want the dollars and us minions just help them make it.

Marley is such a rabbit she is always rolling around and moving she is wanting to crawl and brings the knee's up under her and gets so frustrated that she cant move but it will happen soon, she has also started eating solid foods well puree anyway. Marley and Willow are so different so different Willow is such a little princess and Marley is very easy going. I tell Rebecca that Willow is like her and Marley like me.

Ventured 80 kilometers down the South Gippsland Highway to Yarram Golf Course today for a hit. Had a 79 which is to handicap but had to do it the hard way with 3 birdies in the last 5 holes. Its a very hard course if you dont hit the fairway off the tee and i missed too many fairways today.

well its been an eventful couple of weeks.

Marley ended up in hospital for two nights she had the onset of phenonia ,flu (not sure how to spell it. She and Rebbecca spent a couple of nights at Gippsland Base Hospital in Sale in the paediatrics ward. Marley is now fine and all good. Willow also had a cold at the same time so i was looking after her at home and what a pain she was all i herd was dad, dad", dad" DAD" get me this get me that.

On Saturday gone we went to Traralgon to the annual family christmas get together, it was good to catch up with family members i always look forward to having a beer with my cousins Sharon and Simon. Speaking of cousins congrts to Fionna on having her second baby.

Christmas is fast approaching again another year gone by where does the time go thankfully all the girls Christmas shopping is done signed sealed and delivered. I have to work a few hours on the big day buts thats ok as i am having a day off on the monday after it.Scott and Rachel are heading down to Seaspray so we will go and see them for 2 days.

Well its been well over a month since i last updated yes i am getting slack and the blog just does not do it for me as it once did so i would say that post will get more and more less frequent as time goes by.

Well isn't it good to see petrol prices falling finally it has come down by around 40 cents a liter here but that nothing compared to the 100 dollars a barrel that oil has come down. We are just unlucky that the Aussie dollar's arse has fallen out of it other wise it would be much cheaper still.

On Saturday went to a BBQ at Lee Blakes house which was great it was also attended by some other old mates like Hags. Scott and Rachel made the trip down from Melbourne and a good time was had by all. I got stuck into the Woodstock 9 percent Bourbon Cans that lee did not like. I can tell you i was highly pissed by the end of the night and don't remember much of the trip home.

Marley is growing all the time she was 5 months old yesterday and she already has 3 teeth. She just rolls around every where. We have started her on farax ( infant rice cereal)and she loves it. She is such a different baby than willow so much easier less demanding.One similarity is that both have never had a dummy or even wanted one when offered . I think thats good as its one less thing they need to be taught to give up. Willow is now very much fully toilet trained she does both wee and poo on the toilet which is great she still wears a nappy to bed but come the warmer weather we will do away with that too.

Have not been playing so much golf lately but still about once a week, i love playing my golf and its a real challenge or frustration depending on the day. Golf is the greatest solo sport on the planet you play one day and play really well and you can come out the nest day and play like shit for no apparent reason. It does my Fucking head in sometimes!.

I attended Salefest last weekend and had an absolute ball. Salefest is an organized pub crawl basically. They had 6 venue's in town with bands playing all for you to go to at certain times, mind you there is nothing saying you had to move from one to the other. I managed to go to 5 of the 6 venue's and only did not go the other one was the line was out to the road. Every year they have a theme this year it was school so lots of people dressed up in school uniforms, and yes girls still look hot in school uniforms. I went with Andrew ( Rebecca gets together with his other half the lovely Emily for play group)and we had a ball. We started at the Star Hotel at around 3.30 m moved on to the Sale hotel, then the gippy Hotel wanded into Jack Ryans Irish Bar then bypassed the Kas bar as the line was too long and finally onto Ringers night club. It had been a few years since i had last been to Ringers. Rebecca was pregnant with Willow last visit there but in my free and single days it used to be an every weekend visit Friday and Saturday nights.I bailed and headed home about 11 that was long enough i really enjoyed it but would not want to do it every weekend again. I say Bring on salefest 2009.

Well my work hours are changing again i have gained some but there is a sacrifice it means starting work at 4.15am two morning a week. To me i like it it means my day of work is over by 11.15 am which i like, may even be able to sneak in some golf afterwards.

I thought i better update since it has nearly been a month since the last one.

Willow turned 3 the on the 1st of October, man 3 already they grow fast well time goes fast the older you get. I remember when in High School when you could not wait to get older and now you wish you could get younger.Yesterday we had a party for willow at home and had some family and friends around it was a good day. It started at 12 and we finished up at about 8 last night. Had plenty of beers and a BBQ and a good time was had by all. Willow's god parents Scott and Rachel ( yes rach I have finally updated) came down from Melbourne for the afternoon. Some of Rebecca's friends from playgroup turned up and Andrew and i settled in for some beers well alot by the time Emily dragged him out of here at about 8.

Well the AFL Grand Final was on last week and the Hawks won. They got lucky and got up at the right time. Geelong which lost only lost one game all year and then where beaten in the Final. Sometimes i think we should have a soccer system where the team that wins the most games wins the title, it would be fairer for sure and Geelong would have been awarded the title for being the best team which they where.

The weather has been getting warmer here and summer is coming. Had the first BBQ for the season on Thursday night with many more to come and daylight saving starts tonight here so more daylight as well. I love daylight savings means you can have people around for bbq's and still do things after dinner.

Have a pretty busy month this one ahead, have to attend my Brothers Wedding reception ( he had a small wedding early last month and is now having a reception this month)on the 17 and then have to go to Scott and Rachel 10 year Wedding anniversary party. 10 years man i remember there wedding day i was the best man they got married in a nice park and we got a limo back to the wedding reception.I guess i better start doing some Christmas shopping soon as well since that will be here before long as well.

and finally go the Melbourne Storm tonight in the NRL grand final even if the league have tried to screw then over i say stick it right up the NRL bastards in Sydney who dont like Melbourne and the success the storm have had.

I am sure all Australians but not some of my International readers have herd about the Underbelly TV series based on the Melbourne Gangland wars. I can not tell you that i have seen it as that would be illegal in Victoria but if i had seen it i would tell you its one of the best Australian TV shows i have ever seen. I can see why its currently banned in Victoria still with at least 4 of the characters who are in the show still awaiting trail in Victoria for Murders that where portrayed in the TV series.If there is anyone left in Victoria who has not seen Underbelly hopefully it will be on the small screen soon.

Ah the weather has finally started to get better and we are seeing some beautiful spring days happening now well in the this part of Victoria anyway its been fantastic it was great out on the golf course this week.

Its hard to believe that Willow will be 3 years old soon it only seems like yesterday that she was born and i was sitting in the maternity ward for 17 hours. She is real little miss and the terrible 2 is true and i am fearful of the frightening 3's. Her mother insists on having another birthday party for her again this year ( yes Rachel have given you plenty of notice so you can come).Since we are having a party for her Rebecca has started a mission to clean up the back yard so she has been busy buying new plants and preparing the garden beds for them.

I went and played golf at Yallourn Golf Club on Wednesday its about 70 kilometers away, its a good challenging course a lot harder than Maffra. It is good to go and play another course it makes you think about your golf more.

Poor Marley she is sick at present she has a bad cold and is sneezing and has a dripping nose all the time. She is a trooper though and is getting through it. She is ment to have her needles today but not sure if the doctor will give it to her since she is sick. Time flies by she was 9 weeks old on Tuesday just gone. Speaking about time flying i am turning 35 on Friday, where did it all go who knows but i am not one to celebrate my birthday whats to celebrate about getting older. Willow will also be 3 in just over a months time ( Rachel we are having a party for willow first weekend in October just giving you some notice so you and Scott can come up).

The golf is going well had my best score yet since resuming playing yesterday, had a 77 for 18 holes which is pretty good a 5 over the par of 72 holes, Could have been better considering i played 4 over for 2 holes and 1 over for 16 holes.

Work has been pretty good starting to actually not mind it at present, the days go fast as there is always something to do there which is very different from some of my past jobs and the people i work with are very nice.

Thinking about maybe bringing the blog to an end
I am struggling to find things to write about at present and the motivation to write and the time to write.

Well life has been very busy and only getting busier. Rebecca spends most of her time looking after Marley needs while i take care of Willow's needs which is job in itself i can tell you. She is at the age where every second word is daddy i want this daddy can you get me that daddy listen to me. At the same time you also get the great moments like this morning when she told me i am the best daddy in the world.

Played golf yesterday as usual on a Wednesday did not go very well i need to buy a new pitching wedge hopefully a Titliest Vokey will do if i can find one cheap. Shaun a guy i play golf with we are going to have a hit at Morwell on Sunday which will be good as i have not played any other course bar Maffra since i started playing agian

Hi All

Well when I had realised that Mark had not made a post in so long I thought I'd do one. It seems like forever since I did one! Everything is going really well at the moment. Marley is great and Willow is being fantastic with her. I thought she would be really rough with her but she is very gentle and everytime she cries she yells out that she's not ok and "needs to be fixed!"

Marley is very different to Willow. She is very content and is quite happy (she has just started crying!) to lay on the floor and kick. Willow on the other hand was always on me and very rarely just layed on the floor by herself. They say that the second is easy but I' not sure if it's just me or she is just really great. We'll go with the she's really great. I've also found some really great friends who help out with everything. I met some of them through playgroup and when that all went bad we stayed together and just do it from homes. There are 7 of us, originally we all had one child each and now we're up to 13 with two more due layer this year. When I had Marley they sent me home with a wonderful nappy cake as a present and ready made foods. Bec and Lauren also dropped off some essentials (lollies and chocolate) to me in hospital. They are fantastic friends and I can't believe I had to have a baby to find them!

Not much else is happening at the moment.

I;m still trying to play golf some days good somedays bad. Yesterday was was a good day i beat my handicap by 2 shots which is great considering the weather was very windy. It has been one of the coldest and windiest winters we have had in a long time.

Baby Marley is doing well she has put on over a kilogram this week which is great says the health nurse. Rebecca must have good full cream milk i say. She is a much different baby to willow seems more settled. Have had a couple of bad nights this week with wind. The Wind is Rebecca's fault though she has a habit of having too much Caffeine through Coffee and Coke.

I am off to play golf today so wish me luck i have won the first two club comps i have entered since re-gaining my handicap.

Everyone has there sporting Hero's. For me there has only really ever been one who was my idol that man is Greg Norman. The amount of Early mornings that i got up before School to Watch Norman come down the line on a Sunday in Major only to be disappointing numerous times. That was the thing about Norman he could do anything win easy or loose easy but if you spend 331 weeks as world number one you where always in contention. As a Young Golfer i would buy Cobra Clubs as that is what Norman used and Tour Edition balls as well

.

So what a week its been to see Greg Norman back on top of a major leader board at The British Open at age 53. It must have been nearly 10 years since Greg has been in contention but for me and my golf buddy Hags its like a dream come true to watch the Shark in Contention again. I can only dream that Greg will still be in contention coming down the Line on Sunday but hay What dream it is

Well its been nearly three weeks since Marley was born. She is a very good little baby. Willow was a very high maintenance baby who liked to be held all the time where Marley is happy just to lay on the floor and kick. She was size 0000 and is already into a size ooo so she is growing. I find it very hard to remember Willow when she was this small, the little noises and faces that they make is always very funny. Marley is a sleeper and will happily sleep for 4-5 hours at a time "Thank God" where Willow was well over 1 before she slept that long..

Had My Aunty Carole's 60th birthday party in Traralgon last night. Its always good to catch up with Family you have not seen for a long time. My cousins Simon and Sharon who are both my age and who i spent alot of time with when i was younger where there and it always great to catch up and have a beer with them and others.

Well the Golf is going good love playing would love to play more but that not possible all the time. I was given an initial handicap of 10 which i played off yesterday and i had 2 shots better than that. I had a an 80/70 net. The TaylorMade Burner Driver i bought is the best Driver i have ever used its nearly impossible to miss a Fairway with it. I am scanning ebay for a TaylorMade 3 wood hopefully I will pick one up soon cheaper and possible second hand.

Well the due date was yesterday we learned we thought it was the 21st. Rebecca ended at the hospital tonight just to check the babies heart beat as it was spiking at times. The Midwife was happy with it so we headed home. They think it might be mini contractions that are pushing the baby in to the birth position. So we got to go home but i am sure we will be back there in the not too far future.

In 2 weeks or so i will be working 5 days a week at the Freedom Foodworks store here in Maffra, its will be ok not what i want to do but hay it pays well so it will do for now.I'm not sure how i feel about 5pm till 12.15am but i guess if i sleep till 9-10 i still get most of the day to do things.

I am now an Official member of the Golf Club and i will be playing Saturday, baby permitting i say. And on Golf Tiger Woods out for the rest of the season i say good thing gives evryone else a go and makes it more exciting not knowing who is going to win.

I have finally sold the Magna thank fuck for that and went to lakes Entrance on Sunday and picked up the Commodore. Never thought i would have a commodore as i hate holden but hay we do what we have to do. I once read a bumper sticker that said "god created Shit and Holden put it on Wheels". No its very nice of my parents to give us there old car since they have just bought a new car. Its been at the mechanics for the last few days getting some things fixed on it.

Have been sneaking up the golf course hitting practice balls its starting to get better and i am starting to find my swing groove again in a few more weeks i will be ready to get out on the golf course again. I think 5-6 weeks of practice first will do my game a world of good and help me not to embarrass myself. I just need to buy a new driver now and i will be right. Been looking at a TaylorMade R7 and i might have a hit of one tomorrow night at Ray Drummond.

Got Cable Tv put on today not sure who long will keep it for but have to have it for atleast 6 months then we will see. Mainly got in for Rebecca so when she is up feeding the new baby at night there will be at least something on to watch. And yes i will be able to watch the socceroos on Sunday night in their World Cup Qualifier.

I'm thinking its about time that this baby showed itself and we can get on with it!.Only 2 weeks till the due date.

Once upon a time pre Rebecca and willow i used to play alot of Golf and i was very good at it I won two Maffra Golf Club Championships and played off a handicap of 4. Recently i had been thinking about taking it up again so last week i went up to the course and submitted a membership application. I will be a member again in 4 weeks time and i am really looking forward to playing some golf. I have been hitting some balls on the practice fairway this week trying to find my swing groove. First off i had to buy some golf balls and shoes. Its amazing some of the deals you can find on the net these days. I bought a pair of shoes for $39 dollars a hundred dollars off which was great.

I have someone coming to look at my car today which would be great if they buy it as then i can get my fathers old car. That would be much easier having a 4 door car for Rebecca and the kids.

Willow is doing really well she is growing up so fast and she talks so well and is very smart. Her toilet training is going well, she is very happy to do wee in the toilet but not happy doing poo she wants a nappy for it. Anyone got any suggestions how to fix this. She has even started waking up in the night asking to go toilet instead of doing it in her nappy.She seems excited about having a new brother or sister.

On the work front i may have a job working in the old Horizon store where i used to work in the 90's which will be ok but its from 5pm till 12.15 am so night work but hay a man has to do what he can to make a dollar .Its 36.15 hours a week which will be good till i can find something better but its hard to find something around here thats better.

Here is hoping next time i blog there will be a new Wyld to tell you all about and a short labour would be good this time instead of a 17 hour one and those dirty bastards at the hospital have banned smoking anywhere on the premises so i will have to run out the front in the car park to have one. Once again our doctor will probably be away he is in South America at a medical conference, yeah right i say he is just holidying

well i have been a bit slack i see its 2 weeks since i last updated. I have been busy working hard for Freedom Fuels at 2 different sites in maffra.

Well whats been happening? Well last Weekend we went down to Yarram to meet my brothers Passu and her children. It was a good day we had a bbq and some thai food and ended up drinking a heap of Jack Danials. Yarram is about 80-90 kilometers away from here down the South Gippsland Highway.

The Collingwood magpies last night flogged the undefeated Geelong Cats by 86 points which was a mighty shock to all i think even myself i did not even watch it and opted to go out to dinner at Bec and Micks (playgroup friends). I did catch the last quarter though. Had a good night I like Mick he and i are similar so we get along well. Mick is big into the Whiskey and loves a it straight on ice. He only buys the good stuff though like 80-100 dollar bottles. I must admit i had tried Scotch straight before and ice and never really found it to be nice just burned the throat but with good single malt scotch that is aged at least 12 years i just seems to slip down and not burn at all.

Only 4 weeks now till the baby is due so it has turned the doctor said and is in the launch position so it can come at any time now. I just want it out and growing so we can get on with it now. Willow is very excited about the baby she loves baby and last night at bec and micks she was talking and trying to play with baby ruby.

Well winter is just about here just been outside and its the first frost of the year i see and its cold i love the feel of the frozen grass under my feet.

Time is slipping by rather fast and new baby now due in only 6 weeks where has the time gone. It was like something that was going to happen but now its reality check time and it will happen soon. Our Doctor is going away and Rebecca will have to be full term for him to be here. He is going to some medical conference in South America but sounds like a holiday to me. He is going to climb to the Inca city in the Andes. half his luck.

It must be a week to tease mark all my overseas friends are holidaying some have been to paris (bastards) some are in spain at the beach ( arseholes). Thats the only thing that shits me about Australia is that we are so far away from the rest of the world no weekend trips to paris from here.

The company i have been working for freedom Fuels have bought another fuel station here in maffra so i am going to pick up some more work there not much but 10-15 hours extra a week which is handy well the money is always handy. I start on saturday night doing a 6 till midnight shift but thats only for this week and then during the day and week next week.

My brothers better half well maybe not because i have not meet her arrives in Australia this week on Friday. I guess we will meet her sometime in the next few weeks.

Went to an engagement party on Saturday night for Andrew and Emily. Emily used to be in Rebecca's mothers group and will be again soon as she is pregnant again as well. The party was at the star hotel in sale in the sails function room. It was a good night had by all i think. Johhno and i settled in for a few beers well alot of beers in the end by the time his missus dragged him out of there must have been 12.30am Kylie the party poop per. Rebecca spewed up on the floor not sure why she must have had something to eat that did not settle well luckily nearly everyone had gone home by then and where over in the corner. Spent Sunday feeling rather seedy but hay it was all good dont much chance to get on it anymore so when i do i make the most of it.

Went to Melbourne yesterday to see Matchbox Twenty in concert at Rod Laver arena . It was a good concert they played all there hits. I like Matchbox twenty but they do sing a few too many slow sloppy love songs.The crowd seemed to like there older stuff better 3AM and Long day where the best. They played for just on 2 hours and sang all original songs except 1 but get this they did a cover of a Kylie Minogue song "Cant get you out of my Head". Must say the Kylie version sounded better. This is the second concert i have been too this year, having seen alot of concerts when i was younger. It made me think of all previous concerts and some of the great bands i have seen ( and forgettable ones).

We got to Melbourne at about 12 and parked at the Vodafone arena. Melbourne is a special sporting city there would not be too many cities in the world if any that has 5 sporting stadiums with in one precint. MCG ( 100,000 capacity), Rod Laver ( 15,000 capacity) arena, Vodafone ( 12,000 capacity) stadium, olympic Park ( 15,000) and the Melbourne rectangular Stadium ( 32,000) under construction) and telstra dome ( 60,000) about 4 kilometers away. Public transport is easy and there all located about 2 kilometers away from the city center. We got a tram into the city and walked around having a look had a coffee at Starbucks then ended up at the Transport Bar in federation Square. Rebecca and decided to sit there most of the afternoon, Bec had sore feet being pregnant and i could have a few pints of beer. Had a Bodenheim Pilsner, Guinness and a bee's Knees honey wheat beer. It was great just sitting down chatting having a drink and watching the city go by. It reminded us of times gone by when visiting some European cities. We grabbed a meal there i had an excellent steak and headed down to Rod Laver arena. We walked back along the Yarra River. We pulled back into town about 2 am this morning.

Well i spent my day off today building a trampoline we bought for Willow. Quiet surprisingly it wasn't as hard as i thought it was. One thing Harvey Norman taught me was when building something always follow the instruction and you cant go wrong. Too many people including myself previously just think yeah i can put it together without the instructions no way!. Willow loved it she cant get enough of "jumpy jumpy" as she calls it. It was $200 well spent i seem to think i will be spending alot of time outside i think. I had a tramp when i was younger and me and my mates had a ball on it for years. We used to do crazy shit like jump of the shed roof onto it and jump from the tramp onto mattress it was great. Cant do that now trampoline's have nets around them and warning signs saying no flips no 2 people on at a time ah safety first now not like the old days.

Just watching Ramsay's kitchen got to say its a great show and has really taken off here in a big way it was on very briefly a couple of years ago and i really liked it then. There is talk he is going to open a restaurant at Crown Casino in Melbourne and make a show of it when it happens.His shows have been attracting alot of publicity because of the swearing thats in it, who cares if he says fuck its not as if you don't hear it everyday anyway.

Rebecca has been feeling not well the last week or so , she has found it alot harder this time around more aches and pains involved. Well we only have about 8 weeks or so to go cant wait just bring it on and lets get on with it.

Well not much been going on around here still working 4-5 days a week which is great considering when i took this job i was told 2 days a week. The company i work for Freedom Fuels Australia are also taking over another Service Station in Maffra. One that i used to work at 8 years ago so i will be looking for a more better position there that guarantee's me more than 16 hours a week. In all honesty i would like to find another job back in sales. There is just nothing around here and moving to find one is just not financially viable especially when rental house prices in Melbourne are averaging $400 a week and i pay just over $100 a week to repay my house loan here.

Rebecca is entering the last 2 months of her pregnancy, man i cant wait till she has it she has been very tired and moody but that comes with the situation hay. All is ready though for the arrival. Willow is in her new room and her old room had been made up for the new baby. My shed is overflowing with stuff from the house that has had to be shipped out there. I should have bought shares in a plastic container company we have that many of them sealed up full of stuff from the house.

My brother has settled in Yarram for now and is awaiting the Arrival of his partner Passu from Thailand. She is arriving on the 1st of May so i look forward to meeting her. I am the only one who had not meet her out of the family. Mum, dad, Rosie and garry all went to Perth and meet her when she was out here last year.

What a difference a week in the weather makes around this place. Start of last week Easter week we where dying with 38-40 degree days no this week its freezing and there is snow in the hills go figure i say global warming is coming.

And its officially got cold i lit my first fire for the season last night in the shed last night. We had quests for dinner Emily and Andrew came around, us boys headed to the shed after dinner for some beers and watched some Top Gear which is by far the best show ever to come out of England even if you don't like cars or know anything about them its just a crack up.

Willow has had a bad cough for a week or so and the doctor thought she may have Asthma but no he thinks it may just be bronchitis sometimes i think doctors don't know shit. He tells us this after we go and buy the asthma medicine that he had recommended.

Happy Easter all hope everyone had a good break if you get one i had 2 days off but had to work the other days so not too bad. Rebecca had to work 3 days of the 4 but she is now finished at McDonald's after yesterday. I am in my final week of 5 days a week for this stint at the service station then back to normal for a week.

Last week we out for dinner to celebrate my parents 65th birthdays had a good 3 course meal it was a good feed had by all.

Next month have 2 trips to Melbourne coming up one to the Zoo rebecca tells me i think Willow will enjoy that very much she loves the animals and one to see Matchbox 20 which will be good too. I first saw Matchbox20 in 1999 so a long time between shows i say.

Rebecca has got this nesting feeling going on and wants to clean everything in site i hate it when she gets like this i say bring on the baby and be gone pregnancy. Well i guess now she has finished work she can nest as much as her little heart wants.

Got a call from my friend David in England yesterday he had been to the darts somewhere in England to see England vrs Europe and loved it I say darts is not a sport its just a pub game so i have started a group on face book called darts is not a sport and sent david an Invitation lets see what sort of response i get from that.

Quiet week this week only 2 days of work but 5 days a week for the next 3 weeks coming up so some good cash there and a few public holidays thrown in for good measure.

My shed not the wyldbrau house is fast filling up as my computer room must make way for the baby when it arrives in June. have bought some paint and getting some new carpet put to replace the 1960's shag pile that haunts it now. I have put some racks that hang from the roof down in there and bought some plastic storage boxes to go on it and we have been filling it up fast.

Interest rates here in Australia are on the rise big time we had our 9 interest rate rise since 2003 without a drop. That sucks for my house repayments but not as bad as if i owed hundreds of thousands though a 3rd of the population are under mortgage stress. An article in the herald sun last week said up to 100 house's a week are getting foreclosed on by lenders. All this a due to our strong economy and raising inflation we are all spending too much i guess.

Scott and Zoe are coming down this weekend for there annual trip to the maffra Mardi Gra. Will be good to catch and have some beers, sorry Scott bourbons.

Rebecca has been having a harder time with this pregnancy than with Willow which was very smooth. She always seems to be having trouble with being out of breath and constant stomach pains. Ah well this is last one we will be having i might just go and get the chop so i can not father anymore.

As for willow miss attitude well she had been poorly behaved lately does not liten just does what she wants the terrible two's alright. If it cant get its own way she lays on the floor and cries and just goes on a terrible treat.

Well its about 2.12 am in the morning and i cant sleep. All 3of us have been really sick the last few days. I went to work today from 12 till 9.15 and it nearly killed me i took some NoDoz to stay awake caffeine pills so i think thats maybe why i cant go to sleep but even when i do i cough flat out and wake myself up anyway so fuck it i may as well be awake then i guess.

Two of the girls from mothers group had babies this week both on the 29 of February ah well guess you will save on presents with only one birthday every four years. They where both a bit upset about it but hay when they want to come out they do. Lauren and Bec both had little babie girls and called them Matilda and Ruby.

This morning i watched the world club challenge between Melbourne Storm and Leeds Rhino's in Rugby League and it was one once again by the British team but so they should its all stacked in there favor. They are already playing there season Melbourne has not played a game yet as our season does not start for another few weeks its played in England every year not Australia and the worlds best player Cameron Smith for the Storm was not playing along with a hand full of others while leeds had a full strength team so no surprise there

The Annual maffra Mardi Gra is on next week its a chance for community groups to raise money by putting forward an entrant who has 6 weeks to raise as much money as possible through fund raising activities.

Watched an excellent movie called The Assisination of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Ford when i got home from work. It was an great movie will not be everyone's pick but if you are a fan of the Western Genre you will certainly like it. Brad Pitt plays Jessie James and does a great job of it.

I have been constantly working at the Service Station which is good for the bank balance but its a boring old job standing behind the counter all day asking is that Eftpos or cash as that savings or credit. Ah well could be worse could be making no money i guess.

Rebecca is down to working 3 shifts at McDonalds and will be finishing up at the end of march. The 8 hours shifts she works really take it out of her. Some of the people she works with are real pains in the arse and try and make her do more than she can they still expect her to lift milk create's and stuff like that.The restaurant manager AJ did ask Rebecca the other day when she comes back does she want to be a full time manager but i dont think Rebecca is that keen to return there.

After seeing Bon Jovi in concert Rebecca has decided that she would like to see Matchbox20 so when have tickets to see them at Rod Laver arena in melbourne on the 24 April so that should be good. I think a trip to Ikea on the way will be in store.

Willow is nearly out of wearing nappies she wears undies during the day and a nappy at night when she goes to bed. She has been really good and tells us she needs to do wee's and off to the toilet we go.

Well once again i have been slack with my updating.

Well my brother was home from Perth 2 weekends ago it was the first time i had seen him in nearly 2 years. He was in town for a 40th birthday for one of his mates. He is now moving back to Victoria from Perth but won be living in Maffra. He will be living in Yarram he thinks which is where near he will be working and about an hour away by car. I stay still does not mean i will see him anymore than now.

My dad was down the weekend Wayne was here and my dad he has been growing vegetables in his gardens for as long as i can remember maybe since JESUS played fullback for Jerusalem i reckon. We my dad he waters and fertilizes then weeds them and totally looks after them and this year he cant grow a tomato. I on the other hand hardly ever water never fertilize and let the weeds grow and i have more tomatoes that you can poke a stick at which i find very funny i had fill up a bag of tomatoes, cucumber and spring onions for him to take home. I have watermelon growing at the moment any cant wait till they grow.

Rebecca and i went for the 20 week ultrasound the other day and baby BOB ( baby on Board) is doing fine nothing wrong that the ultrasound can tell. And no we did not find out what sex the baby was i certainly wanted to but but my dear loving other half said NO. I have started packing up my spare bedroom because it will have to house willow soon and BOB and will move into her room when he arrives in June. I say hang out till July and collect the 5000 dollar baby bonus instead of only 4 in June.The wall unit and computer need moving out and heaps of stuff too the shed. I spent 4 hours cleaning out the shed yesterday and took a trailer of Rubbish to the tip this morning. Its amazing how much shit you can collect without realizing it.

Work at the service station is as good as one could expect at the moment still have another 7 weeks of 30+ hours a week to go there will people are on holidays. Rebecca hates her job well she does not hate the job just a few people she works with. You have to be thick skinned to work at McDonalds thats for sure and always be ready to pull the knives out of your back.

Australia's 2010 world cup qualifiers began tonight in Melbourne when we host Qatar at the Telstra dome which is sold out. We should win and win well especially since our coach has called back most of our European based stars ( Tim Cahill - Everton Fc , Lucas Neil - West Ham Fc, Marco Bresciano - Palermo Fc, Scott McDonald - Celtic Fc, ) just to name a few. Also in our group which is called the Asian group of death is China and Iraq.

Rebbeca her sister Lisa and i went to the Bon Jovi Concert in Melbourne on Saturday night and it was very good. It rained most of the day buy managed to stop for the 2 odd hours that Bon Jovi played. They played a mixture of new and old plus some that were not there's thrown in. Me being a lover of the 80's hard rock scene would have like them to through in a few more old one but at least they sung my favorite Wanted Dead or A live. The concert went for 2 hours 20 minutes and was the first time they had been in Australia for 5 years. I think i liked them more 20 years ago when i seen them with the long hair and the leathers.

We made a day of it we had lunch down in St Kilda on Acland street which also happens to be home to my favorite beer store Acland Cellars so i was able to purchase some of my favorite European beers, Franziskaner, paulaner and Hoegaarden, and i got a bargin a 5 liter barrel of becks for $20.00.After that we headed into the city got parking had alook around for 2 hours then headed to the Sydney Myer Music Bowl to stand in line for Bon Jovi, we cut the line so it was ok. Rebecca loved it as she had never been to a big concert before and she was always a fan of Bon Jovi and i had tisten to her and lisa saying he is so cute. We got back to Maffra about 3 am Sunday morning we had planned to stay in the city but the Australian Open Tennis made it impossible to get a room on the cheap.

We go for our 19 week ultra sound next week and the debate between should we find out the sex or not continues> I want to know what it is so its easier to plan what to but if we need to buy because if its a girl we will have most of the stuff and if its a boy it will help to know what color to paint the room and be able to buy some boys cloths. Rebecca says it will not be a surprise well its not a surprise as far as i am concerned we had sex rebecca got pregnant we have a baby there is no surprise there for me.

I have been working at the Service Station 4-5 days a week for the last few weeks and have another 8 weeks of it to go which is great it will allow us to save some dollars before Rebecca finishes at McDonald's.

Happy New Years to all hope you had a good one

Rebecca, willow and I where in lakes Entrance at my parents house for it we seen in the new year on the foreshore watching the fireworks, Willow was asleep by that time but they have a kids fireworks at 9pm as well which was also good to see.Seen the New Year in with a stubby of Heineken well a few of those as it was 36 on new years eve and 40 on new years day.

Thje weather here has been really hot and i mean hot had 3 days over 40 degree so far this year and 5 in the 30 so its been warm good beer drinking weather i say.

Rebecca has dropped back to 4 shifts a week at McDonald's as the pregnancy gets further into it. This baby has been giving her hell compared to the Willow pregnancy. She has been constantly sick which is not good news for her or ME.

Having the playgroup Mummy;s around tonight for a bbq which should be fun i get along well with the husbands so we will have some beers play some pool and darts while the mummy's talk i quess.

I am plowing my way through season 1 of heros which i received off my sister for Christmas.We are heading down the beach tonight after work to see Scott, Rach and the kids for the evening and then Monday we are off to my parents house in lakes Entrance for new Years eve and new years day returning home on the Wednesday afternoon.

Rebecca had a good break over christmas from work as the pregnancy has been making her ill along with some other aspects of the pregnancy that have required her to rest more.

Willow is running around playing with all her new toys and watching some new dvd's that she received out of all her presents she seems to like the Cars that i gave her from the Movie Cars, she loves mack, sally, doc and lightening.

The weather here has been warm the last few days since christmas and will be 32 today my brother Wayne who stayed in Perth for christmas would have fried through a 42 degree day on boxing day there.

Its also Rebecca's birthday and we had a bit of a mini party last night with the usual suspects here for drinks nibbles and cake plus the required amount of alcohol.

Well christmas is moving closer every day and we went and di all our Christmas shopping for everyone yesterday but we will still probably pick up few more little things for willow in the coming days. Rebecca and i bought tickets to Bon Jovi earlier this month as our Christmas presents. They are on in Melbourne on 19 January so it should be good i have watched them 2 other times and they where one of the best live bands i have seen mind you that was in 1988 and 1991 so a far while ago when they where in the prime.

Rebecca went for an ultra sound the other day and there is only one baby in there thank goodness for that you would have herd my scream world wide if there had of been 2 in there.The doctor tells us it will be due around 21 june next year.

We went to a playgroup Christmas bbq on Sunday night which was quiet good fun as i know all the girls through taking willow to play group but don't often see the dad's and one i have never meet before but it was fun the women congregated inside while us men took up the challenge of a game of back yard cricket until we lost both balls to some big hitting that sent them flying over fences. So a good time was had by all and we will have everyone around here soon for a bbq.

Our friends Scott and Rachel are coming up to Seaspray after christmas for a few days so we will head down there and catch up with them and have a few drinks well i will anyway but not poor Rebecca. It will be good to catch up with them as i have only seen Scott once since our engagement once and have not seen Rachel at all ( yes Rach i know you read this).

Well once again its been a while so thought i better update.

David my English mate/cousin has been staying for the last 2 weeks since the 2 other English lads mully and sean headed home. Its been very enjoyable with David staying we have some good conversations about everything from sport to politics. David is heading off tommorow to ballarat and then Perth and then much to his hate back to the Mother land England.

We have a new prime minister here in Australia Mr Kevin Rudd who i think will do well for the country well i bloody well hope so anyway but he had some good policies while the liberals only had a scare campaign against labor in there Favour. They totally based there campaign in telling people not to trust labor with the economy.

I have been out looking for full time job again as soon i will have to go back to work and Rebecca will be resuming home duties as she is "PREGNANT" again so my time at home is coming to an end. Another baby was a bit unexpected and probably not really what I wanted but hay its happening and i am looking forward to it happening as Rebecca is always sick when she is pregnant. Willow tells us she wants a baby brother i on the other hand do not really care i would be more practical to have another girls but guess i dont really get a say.

Well once again i have been very slack with my blog updating i just dont seem to have that much to write about lately.

Willow was a page girl in a wedding last weekend and she looked quiet beautiful. It was Kellie and Ashley wedding, kelly used to work at Harvey Norman with me and we go to dinner with them most Wednesday nights. The Wedding was in sale and it was a good night the food was nice and the alcohol free so it was good . Sat on a table with all Harvey Norman and ex Harvey staff so it was good conversation where sometimes at weddings you sit with people you dont know and it is hard,

It rained so the wedding was held in the reception venue but was still very nice there was some big windows with a river behind so the setting was really nice.Kelly and Ash are off to Queensland for there honeymoon so at least the weather will be nice.

My English mates called back through on Monday night and are leaving today for Melbourne and a flight back to Manchester on Saturday evening.Its been great fun having them here for the last few days. We have had lots of beers and some good laughs. We went on a bit of a pub crawl the yesterday to sale and maffra had some lunch and a few bets on the horses which was fun won nothing but hay. I was just really good to sit around with some guys drink beer and watch some sports, it was like the old times when there was no kids and partners ect.

Well we have aslo had floods again here over the last weekend it decided to rain for 36 hours and caused flooding in the same area's as lat time. It was not really needed again the water was but no so much it killed crops and flooded roads.

Well not much been happening her.

I had some Friends from England call by last week for a few nights and they will be back in a few weeks again. Its great to catch up with old friends who you have not seen for a while it was fun sharing a few beers with mully and meeting Shaun for the first time.The lads are in Australia for 4 weeks they flew into melbourne and are in sydney at present with David another English lad who was also here. David and i are slightly related we are cousins by marrige. Looking forward to there return in a few weeks we are going to go fishing which should be good David does not drink alcohol so we will be able to have a few cans and maybe catch a fish.

I am still enjoying staying at home with Willow i find it really good most days and most of the time. Rebecca has been doing lots of hours at Mc cafe and she really likes the work "but" she does not like all the bullshit that goes along for working at a place with 70 employee's. She had to go to melbourne last week to a barista ( coffe makers) course.

The weather is starting to warm up in this part of the world have had some days in the high 20 lately but still abit fresh at night .

Buying another car this week just an old car we just need it for me to get around town while Rebecca is at work in Sale. Just waiting on a road worthy to be done to tell me what needs doing to it first before i buy it. Its a 1990 mitsubishi magna it was there top of the line magna back then so power windows, air con, power stearing ect. Will no tommorow if its ok to buy.

Matt and i headed up to this spot called Dermody;s camp up in the foothills of the mountains about 40 kilometers away last week. We used to go up here all the time before we had wives, partners and kids and go swimming, camping and get on the cans. This was the first time i have been up there for about 7 years and its still a beautiful place. When we had walked downto the river you could see about 8-10 very big and i mean big trout sunning themself on the shallow rocks. Matt decided he had a fishing rod in the car and he would have a crack but a bit hard when you have no bait so he had look for some under rocks and stuff but all he found was a little lizard to use. Alas the trout did not like the bait and are still waiting there to be caught. But it was a good trip down memory lane.

Well things have been going well with the new arrangement i have so far very much enjoyed staying home with Willow and keeping the house clean. We have been going to the park most days and playing for an hour or so which seems to tire her out for a sleep. or we will go out and play in the veggie garden / back yard. I go to the park and it makes you realize what a good place to bring up children it is in the country at Maffra .There is usually no one at the park you don't have to wait for the children to play you don't have to worry about needle's or people around your child and when you do meet up with people down there you have a chat its great as you know alot of people already who live here. Small country towns like Maffra are excellent places to bring up a child and i recommend it to anyone who has or is planning on having a child

Rebecca has been very busy with her new job and a tad grumpy as well she is certainly not used of getting up at 4am to be at work by 5. Rebecca seems to like her job in the mcCafe its just the starting time that puts her off. Willow has been a bit funny towards her since she she started work and seems to now come to me more since i now look after her which i think is not pleasing her mother.

My job so far has been excellent and i am really enjoying the fast paced nature of always having a customer compared to Harvey Norman where you might have one customer all day i say FUCK that they can have it. I work with Wendy on Mondays and Paul on Fridays which is great i used to work with these two when i first worked at the petrol station and we have always had a great relationship ( so up your arse Greg).

Well my first three days back at the service station have gone fine i like it its a good job and enjoyable. You get to see lots of people who you have not seen in ages. I keep getting asked after seven years absence what are you doing back here?. I dont miss harvey norman one little bit at present.

Rebecca starts her job on monday at Mcdonalds doing training for the McCafe role she has to go to Traralgon to train Monday and Wednesday and then the restaurant McCafe opens on Friday and she is working Friday till Sunday 5am till 2 Pm.She is bit nervous but she will be ok i think she will like it and she seems to already like the girls that are working in the cafe with her.

Well i have not posted in a while so thought i better update.

where to start well the job at Retrovision did not work out i quit after a few days once i got there and did a few days i realized that i just don't think i want to be in sales anymore for now anyway. Its something i will do again but not at present. We where having a hard time finding child care for Willow so i made the problem easier i would find a part time job and look after willow.

I started my part time job today back at the petrol station here i worked prior to starting work in sales and its great just what i want to do for a while and the money is better than Harvey Norman as i am classed as casual. I get 16 hours standard and fill in when needed for the full timers. I work on a monday till Friday 8am till 4 pm which is great and with Rebecca working full time we will be making more money than ever.

Willow had her first major fall the other day. We where out at the monthly Jack Kelly sale and she tripped over and split her lip on the ash felt. She had blood running everywhere. I thought rebecca was going to pass out she did not handle seeing her daughter bleeding very well went a shade of white.

The backyard is coming along excellent have made the patio area and some new garden beds some hopefully by summer all our flowers will have bloomed and our backyard will great for bbq season.photo's will follow soon of the improvement.

WELL I AM EMPLOYED AGAIN I START WORK AT RETROVISION SALE ON MONDAY SELLING ELECTRICAL GOODS WHICH IS MORE UP MY ALLY THAN FURNITURE ANYWAY. THE MONEY IS JUST ABOUT AS GOOD AS HARVEY BUT THAT WONT MATTER WITH REBECCA STARTING WORK AS WELL SOON.I AM PRETTY EXCITED AND KEEN TO GET IN THERE AND LEARN HOW IT ALL WORKS THERE. Well we are in Lakes Entrance at my parents house for the night house for the night, willow loves it when we go and see grandman and grandpa especially Grandma's dogs basi and shadow.

Rebecca has found a full time job at McDonalds in Sale running the new McCafe that they are currently building there. She has to go to Traralgon next week maybe for training as the McCafe in Sale is not built yet.Me on the other hand will become a stay at home dad if i cant find a job soon but i had an interview during the week for a job and got a call yesterday from another business looking for a sales person so i have to go in there for an interview on monday.As much as financailly its hurting me i dont regret quiting at Harvey Norman

We are heading home this afternoon and going out to dinner tonight in Sale its Jarrods birthday another ex- harveys man and former 2.I.C of the electrical side of the business.

Pretty much have not been doing too much got going abit on thursday and went and bought some wood and made another vegetable garden to start planting some summer vegetables like capsicum, tomatoes, lettuce and stuff like that that you can put in summer salads. We will prepare the ground this week but my dad tells me its a bit early to plant some of them yet as the ground is still too cold for the summer vegetables.

Well its nearly been a week jobless now but things are looking positive, i had a call from Dick Smith Electronics manager in sale asking me to submit a resume which i have and i also applied for a job as a train conductor which i got a call and had a phone interview about. Rebecca also has a job interview today if she manages to get a full time position i will become Mr Mom for a while so can can work while i watch Willow and i will try and find a part time job at nights.

Well sorry i have not updated in a while had a few major things going on in my life this week.

On Tuesday afternoon after thinking about it for several weeks i walked into my bosses office and handed in my resignation effective immediatly. I loved my job but found it impossible to work for and with someone who has some major communication issue's.

This is a man who would sit in his office all day looking at a computer screen and then come out on the floor and say nothing to you in the 5 days before i quit he would have been lucky to spaek to me 10 times and considering i was his 2.I.C i find that unexceptable on all levels.

This is the situation that harvey Norman are in they dont pay enough to there managers so there is no one wanting to be one so they just give anyone a shot and you end with people like Greg.

Who i should say has a great business sence but no communication skills what so ever he thinks getting his point accross means sitting in his office looking down his long pointy noise over his glasses at you and ignoring you is an effective way of communication yeah maybe if you are a monkey.If i had kissed his arse a bit more like the warehouse guy pete maybe i would have been traeted better but hay fuck that i am no ones lacky thats for sure i will leave that to pete.

But you know the funny thing for all his effort and so called business skills and i say so called the shop is doing no better now than when Stuart was there so shows you can change what you like but does not make a difference and Stuart was twice the manager this guy will ever be. So i will recieve a payout of about 6 weeks in total so i have 6 weeks to get a job or the wedding may have to be pushed back but i am pretty sure i will find one i actually have a job interview tonight with leading edge computers and am hopefull of getting one with Dick Smith electronics later in the week.

Well i guess any oversea;s holiday plans i had are now dead and burried i would say till i get another job and the prospect of it paying as well as harvey norman is very low so that shows the depths of my decision that i would leave a good paying job for nothing buy hay you just have to do these things and take a chance every now and then.

Well its Sunday again I am back here at work once again after yesterday off. Did not do much yesterday just hang out around the house had an afternoon sleep..

I had a work evaluation this week which was very interesting. We where graded on 10 different categories with 4 being the best mark and 1 the worst. In 6 categories I received 4 in 2 categories I received 3 and in the last 2 categories I received a 2. My major downfall in my review was my management or should I say mismanagement of my staff. I don’t delegate enough stuff for them to do I do too much of it myself and I don’t look enough outside of the square I was told.

Paul came around on Friday night so we fired up the fire and played some pool while listening to some classic 80’s metal kiss and Iron maiden. Paul bought around some Grolsch beers and we sampled my new homebrew, it seems alright will be better in a few weeks. I won the pool 5 games to 3 which was better than the flogging I copped off possum the night before where the score was 5 to 1.

My work mate Kelly who came around last week and features promiantly in the video on my website is trying to tell me she thought I was only taking pictures and not film. I told her I am changing the title to Kelly’s boobs and see how many hits I get on it on You-tube them. Kelly is leaving Harvey Norman (half her luck) to work in a clothes store. The store is next door to this shop so we will all still see her regularly.

As for my daughter she is becoming quiet rebellious and very independent or naughty you pick which one. She has a problem listening to her parents Rebecca says she gets that off me. When she goes swimming she wont kick all she does is want to sink to the bottom sands up dives in off the side she is just full of energy and courage. She talks non stop and just babbles on all the time.

My parents are down in Maffra today Dad had to bring me some more wood as I have been burning through it pretty quickly in the shed. Its been the coldest winter on record for a while and is especially cold down the shed at night. It has taken about 2 months to burn through the first load, but it was very draftee because the shed was not sealed properly.

Well I have been reading some travel books and my first 2 possible destinations for our 2010 trip to Europe have been tentatively pencilled in. The Costa Dorada region in Spain and Bucharest in Romania look like places we will visit on our next trip along with some usual place’s like Munich and England this time. We will go and stay with Alan and Dee in England.

Well the way things have been going I will update again next Sunday.

Well the weather has slowly been getting better and the rain has seemed to be gone for now which is great because in winter here you get some ripper days here which is nice and really sunny.

On a less positive note Australia was knocked out of the Asian Cup football tournament by Japan last night in the quarter Finals losing a penalty shoot out, ah well we beat them at the world cup last year.

Last Night the work gang came around and we had drinks, maybe too many drinks by the way I am feeling now and especially too many considering I am at work now and feeling like shit but “You Play You Pay” I guess. It was a good night had by all we played some pool drank some listened to some great music and generally had a ball and for once it was great to do something in Maffra for my and Brad’s sake instead of having too go Sale all the time.

Yesterday the 21 July was 7 years for me working here at Harvey Norman Sale store and I say that’s about 6 years too long. I would love to leave and do something else but the pay keeps me here I left and went to work in another shop there is no way I would get payed what I am getting here and I know money is not everything but by fuck it helps. Working for big business sucks all they want is all mighty dollar mate and they just keep putting the pressure on all the time make more sales, make more profit, cut your wages do this do that what a load of bullshit it is..

I find my thoughts continually drifting to my next overseas holiday which will not be till 2010 if have to get past this bloody wedding first and then start saving for Europe again if I hang out till 2010 I am due long service leave and then we can spend maybe 8 weeks in Europe next time which would be great. I will start researching possible destinations soon or should I say dissecting them as last time I researched and booked everything myself and did not use any travel agents as its cheaper. So I go and a find a place we want to go and then I research the accommodation, public transport, the airport what sights are there, what budget airlines fly there and where from ect ect and I just do that for every city we plan on visiting. Really it needs to be done and researched by about 12 months before you go so you can start shopping for early bird plane fares to Europe because the flight there is the most expensive thing usual around the $2000 mark per person.

I would also like to say hi to an old friend from my high school days Adam Watts who discovered my website somewhere and has since been in touch. Adam moved to Perth when we where in High School.

well my 10 days holiday came and went very fast as expected and i am now back in hell again till next time.

David came down for a visit for 6 days which was good to catch up with the dizza for a while he made a marathon 8 hour car drive from Nowra to hear in England that is considered a hole shit load of driving in one day here not so much.

The roof in the Wyldbrau shed is nearly completed on the weekend 90% of it is up and built thanks to Garry and Steven, we may have had all up except we ran out of roofing material.

Wedding plans are advancimg hall, catering and decorator have been booked at this stage.

Well the David arrived on Friday night after driving from nowra in a 9 hour driving marathon. Just like last time David was here its raining these English people must bring the weather with them. Today is Sunday and its still raining so its a bit hard to take David anywhere but he has re introduced himself to the famous "MAFFRA PIE".

Yesterday Rebecca and i went looking at places for wedding receptions yesterday well at halls anyway because we are going to organize the catering for it.Rebecca's parents SAM and Wilma came with us for a look as they are paying for some of the wedding which is great and i stress "GREAT!". I think we are going to have it where we had our engagement party which was down at the Maffra Football Club.

Rebecca has been running around like a chicken with its head cut off doing wedding stuff she wants it all organized now so there is no little surprises. I on the other hand are not much help she continually tells me but a wedding is meant to be the bride's day so she has an idea in her head what she wants that would certainly clash with my idea's so i leave most of it to her.

Paul and Sharon came around last night and we had a few games of pool out in the Wyldbrau house and i even tapped the beer machine for the first time. I pulled out the 1 liter German steins and we had some Brew's, a home brewed stout that i added vanilla essence to so its nice and mild.

The flood waters have subsided here in East Gippsland well when I say that they have subsided away from any house but there is still a lot of water on low lying ground. There has been numerous damaged to bridge and road infrastructure in the area with bridges and roads being washed away.

My parents have had 2 nervous nights in Lakes Entrance with raising flood waters and king tides to deal with. The water got to within 2 houses from my parents house and my uncle David who lives in a caravan park at lakes entrance had 3 inches of water running through his caravan annex.

I have come down with a severe cold thanks to willow she had it first and now past it onto me started off as a sore throat and has now turned into a full blown head cold and my sinus is killing me. Luckily I have tomorrow off and then star holidays on Wednesday.

GLENMAGGIE WEIR ALL GATES OPEN

Well we have just been through massive bush fires and drought and now have major floods in our area. I had to go home from work yesterday because there was a risk that the Maffra-Sale road that I take home from work might be closed for flood waters.

Glenmaggie weir which the might Macalister river runs through was forced to open it walls ( For my English friends I took you there when you where over in 2004) and let water out which has caused major flooding down stream. 35000 megaliters This amount normally will cause a flood but they had to let go 147000 megaliters yesterday or otherwise it could have affected it structurally it was the equivalent of letting go 2/3 of the weirs capacity. By doing this the Macalister river pretty much rose 11 meters.

The weir and Rivers are full of trees and even parts of bridges that have washed away and are heading down stream. A lot of this is caused by the lack of vegetation in the mountains where the rain started due to the bush fires that ripped through 4 months ago.

My boss Greg is heading back to Newcastle today but was not sure weather he would get through the flood waters at Bairnsdale so he took a chance and did get through there luckily for him .

They are predicting floods at lakes Entrance this afternoon that’s where my folks live. They live on the Gippsland Lakes and the lakes are very full from all the water coming down the rivers plus the there is a king Tide predicted tonight so when you mix the flood waters with a massive tide you will get flooding. My parent’s home should be safe though even though they only live a few hundred meters from the water.

My mate Paul (assistant bar manager at Wyldbrau) is coming over tonight and he is bringing his mini Heineken keg so we will have a few beers and hopefully Garry( builder of the Wyldbrau house) and I will be picking up the roof tomorrow and the pool table on Monday.

Well another weekend has rolled around again and just the same shit happening as usual work and sleep.

The walls are finished in the Wyldbrau shed all is left is the roof which Garry and i going to get the Roof next Saturdays and hopefully some of that will be put up next Saturday as well and then i can decorate it.

I have some holidays coming up well a week anyway and hopefully David is coming down from Sydney to visit which will be good have not seen David since he was last here in 2004.

Willow went swimming in Friday and i attended and she has now decided that she does not want to jump into the water off the side feet first she would prefer to Dive in so she is happily diving into the water head first with no fear what so ever. She loves the pool and the water the funny thing is she hates me washing her hair in the shower she creams when i put her head under "Go Figure".

Paul and i has a few beer last night out in the Wyldbrau last night we bought this beer last weekend while in Melbourne its a Bavarian beer called Schneider Adventius and its a 12% beer and man was it horrible it tasted like a spirit and left a rather warn horrible taste in one's mouth.

It’s a beautiful day here today the sun is shinning and its quiet warm outside I don’t even have to wear a coat today. The weather here has been very cold lately well cold by our standards but I assume not as cold as some of my friends in Europe get..

My cousin David contacted me today by text he is Sydney after coming from Manchester and the weather is terrible there is a vast storm along the New South Wales Central coast. There has been a massive amount of rain and Newcastle has been flooded and there is a 220 meter coal ship beached on the main beach. The ship is now causing environmental concerns as it might break up and leak fuel and oil into the ocean. The swells have been 20-40 foot and pushed this massive ship up onto the beach. Numerous people have died a part of the highway has washed away and in Sydney harbour a ferry terminal fell into the ocean..

She tells me she does not want to go back to work but I think it will be good for her to do something different than just be a mother, cleaner, house keeper and all around great partner to me. Rebecca has many years experience in this field before stopping work to be Willow’s mummy. Rebecca’s best friend or girl friend as I call her Kylie also works there and will be working with her tonite which will be good for Rebecca.

My mother is going to Perth next weekend my dad is already over there staying with my brother for a week before returning back to lakes Entrance. They have gone over to meet my brothers new girlfriend who he seems quiet serious about..

Queens Birthday holiday tomorrow in Australia even though its not the queens actually birthday and why we celebrate the birthday of a foreign monarch is beyond me. Australia is an independent country and why we still have the British Queen as our queen is bullshit I think. The royals come out here every few years and our government pays for it and that sucks as there must be better things for my taxes to be spent on than that.

Well its the queens birthday long weekend here in Australia a 3 day holiday for many but not me when you work in retail long weekend do not exist as we are open all weekend and i only have Monday off.

Garry and i are going to resume some work on the shed and finish the walls and get onto the roof and then finished. I painted the floors on Thursday on my day off.

Willow has been sleeping very well at nights anyway she is a set routine now where she has a shower at 7.15 and then has a bottle of milk and then straight into bed for a sleep. It seems to be working out fine and she is not really waking during the night and gets up at around 6-7 am which is fine as I am an early riser.

Heading down Melbourne next weekend to do some shopping will be going to Ikea then across to St Kilda to my favorite beer shop to pick up some German classics like paulaner and Franziskaner my old friends. We will be going with Paul and Sharon our friends from Maffra here as Paul like me has an interest in foreign beers so it will be fun.

My boss Greg is finally going to take a day off work he has been at the shop since March 15 and has not taken a day off as off yet except to go to Sydney for a couple of company meetings.

Willow will be in Shrek heaven later today as a friend of mine has a copy of Shrek 3 so at least it will be something different to watch as i think i know every word of Shrek 1&2.

Well work re-started on the shed last weekend and we got a bit completed the fire went in the wall and more final lining went up on the inside. We just have the roof to cpmplete and one half a wall and we are done and i can start moving my shite in there. Today i have off and i am going to put a layer of paint on the floor well atleast half the floor anyway

Well its been an eventfull week at work i went in Saturday to resign my position and start looking for another job but ended up sitting down with Greg for an hour and working out our differences and now all had been great the last two days.

Work will re-start on the shed this weekend coming hopefully get some seriuos amount done nad be well on the way to finishing it.

Kylie, johhno,paul and sharon come around on saturday night the men headed to the shed for some beers and the girls stayed in the warm lounge room it was a good night. Rebecca and kylie have become really close friends since meeting at playgroup which is great for Rebecca since she does not have that many close Friends.

Work has been productive commision wise since Stuart left for Western Australia i ahve been making more money but work is not as enjoyable. The now boss Greg is a bosses boss he does not want to be our friends he told us that he is here to do a job and friends only get in the way of that.He only talks to you when he has got something say about work and i find that really piss poor and makes for a bad work environment.

Willow's trip to sleep school worked she is now going to sleep every night at 8pm and going into the cot awake and falling asleep by herself which is great. The day sleeping is no better but atleast she is sleeping well at night all night without one of us having to get up and settle her.

Well work on the Wyldbrau shed has slowed in the last week garry has been on Holiday in Perth and they returned Yesterday so hopefully it will fire up again soon and be finished sooner rather than later.

David my cousin by marrige from england is due to hit our shores next week sometime and hopefully he will pop in for a visit on his trip. David was last here in November of 2004.

Well its been a while since i updated with any writing i am getting slack.

The Wyldbrau house now has power in it the lights are up the power points connected so we are really now moving forward towards the finish of it. Only the roof and the heater/fire now needs to be put in and we are Finished.

Rebecca and i went to Melbourne last week to Tweedle child center. At Tweedle they teach you how to put children to sleep by controlled comforting. I was not a big fan of it maybe i just dont like seeing Willow upset but they tell us its for there own good that they are able to go to sleep without any help. Its hard to sit out the door and listen to her cry and then when i went in the room she was upset and pointing her finger at me really mad at me. I dont find it as hard when at home because she is in a fimilar environment not in some strange room with none of her stuff.

While in Melbourne ( Footscray) i slipped accross to St Kilda to Acland Cellars to pick up some beers as they sell over 300 different beers. I bought some Paulaner, Hofbrau, Franziskaner, Dreher, Staropramen and a dutch beer. When i got home my mate Paul and his Wife Sharon came around and we had some beers all six each and it was a good night and its great to find someone else who has a licking for different beers. We are going to make it a reguallar event and Paul is the assistant bar manager of the Wyldbrau house.

Also called in and visited Scott and Rachel for a quick visit on our way home. I borrowed a guy at works navman GPS system to take to melbourne thjey are very handy but sometimes a bit confusing if you dont know the settings. When going to St Kilda from Footscray it took me right into the CDB of Melbourne and asked me to turn right down king street but there was no right turn so it said go up the next street and turn right once again no right turn. I found it very handy at night but no so during the day as i know my way around Melbourne pretty well.

Yes the shed finally has a door well sort of anyway just got to put the other part of glass in and finish the frame and it will be a room with 4 walls and a door. Then only the fire to put in the roof to do the floor to be painted the outside of the shed to be painted, Fuck me there is still plenty to go ah well its getting therer.

Collingwood defied fatigue and bad finishing to beat Essendon by 16 points in an epic Anzac Day clash at the MCG.

The short break looked like it had an immediate effect on the Magpies, who conceded the first three goals inside nine minutes and appeared headed for a thrashing.

But a superb work rate and non-stop tackling helped them reel in the deficit and turn it into a two-goal buffer at the last change before winning 12.23 (95) to 11.13 (79).

The Magpies rose to the occasion when challenged in the final quarter by booting two quick goals after Essendon's Mark Johnson cut the deficit to six points.

Collingwood's win, played before a crowd of 90,508 in perfect conditions, levelled the record to 6-6 in this fixture after the 1995 draw, and leaves both sides with 3-2 records in 2007.

Anzac Medal winner Heath Shaw typified Collingwood's desperation with an inspiring game at half-back. His brother Rhyce also did well along with Tarkyn Lockyer, while Alan Didak and Anthony Rocca both booted three goals.

Lockyer kicked a decisive goal early in the last quarter when he intercepted a bad kick across the ground by Essendon's Kepler Bradley and ran into an open goal.

That major put the Magpies 18 points up, but Collingwood's greatest concern was their poor finishing for goal.

A string of bad misses kept the game open for far longer than it should have been, even when Rocca missed two shots late in the last quarter.

Collingwood's win was one of their greatest of recent years, given Essendon had two goals on the board within three minutes, one to Matthew Lloyd and one to young speedster Alwyn Davey, who ran around a pack, eluded a tackle and scored from 40 metres.

Collingwood settled and dominated general play for the rest of the attack, but their half-forward line functioned badly and they could not build on their advantage in play.

Davey then nabbed the goal of the day in the second quarter, when he pounced onto a loose ball, rolled out of a Scott Burns tackle and deftly sidestepped Harry O'Brien before kicking truly.

But a few inspiring moments aside, Essendon were outplayed and their key players shut out of the contest.

Essendon's best included fullback Dustin Fletcher, Adam McPhee, Damien Peverill and midfielder Mark McVeigh, while Davey and Lloyd both finished with three goals.

The monster crowd was just the eighth time in league history that a crowd of more than 90,000 watched a home and away game.

Hi Everyone!

I am so sorry that I have not done a post in so long but I was sitting here checking my email and Mark finally convinced me to do one. Things have been really hectic lately. I have joined the committee at playgroup (not out of want but the need otherwise our group would have folded) and we are having a big fundraiser in the next few weeks. Unfortunately it's not that organised and i seem to have the most contacts when it comes to business owners so I have been the one drumming up prizes. I find it to be very embarrassing asking people I know to support it especially when I know that they get asked so frequently. I don't think I will attend playgroup next year because of all this but some of the other girls and I will do it from our homes. I love playgroup but there is alot of stuff that has to be done and most of the mums live five minutes away but they made me, the one who lives 20 minutes away the one who has the keys!! What made my mind up was one week when no-one showed up at all. I was so mad and that was the icing on the cake for me. Don't even get me started on the monthly meetings!!!

Other than that all is well. Willow is making friends well and she loves playing with Blake especially. They share their lunch and when they leave we tell them to give each other a kiss bye-bye and they do. It is so cute. Blake's mum Kylie and I get along really well. She is alot like me and alot of the things that happen we can see from a similar point of view. Whenever Willow sees Blake she plain as days says "Blakey", he just laughs and gets all excited.

Willow started her swimming again today and Blake has moved times to be in our group as well. She did really well. Last term we had alot of problems getting her to kick but today she just kept kicking and having a great time but she was slightly distracted by Blake and what he was doing. She had the same problem with another girl in our group called Millie but she has now moved times.

On the garden subject I have not killed any of the plants I have bought lately and with the price of broccoli ($5.99 a kilo) and cauliflower ($7.00 each) I really have to do something to ease the shopping budget abit. In summer it will come in handy as well, I mean who doesn't love the taste of fresh vegies. (Mark is saying me, me. He hates vegies but I have converted him abit over the years)

Well I have almost written a novel but I hope you are all doing well and I promise to do an entry again soon. Next time I'll have sleep school, the fundraiser and plenty more Willow moments to let you in on.
