Ultrasound Number 2

Rebecca and I went to the Gippsland base Hospital in Sale today for our second ultrasound appointment.

The scan went well except for peanut not being in the right position much and the ultrasound technician having to jam the instrument in Rebecca belly to get it to move into the right position.
All was accounted for 2 legs, 2 arms, 10 toes, 10 fingers, heart, eyes, mouth and a spine just to mention a few.

Well finding out the sex of the baby is possible at this stage 20 weeks and 1 day with the ultrasound and it had been a hot topic of conversation in our house leading up to the scan and even when in the scan we still talking about it and not sure which way to go. Well nearing the end of the scan Rebecca says you want to know so the technician can tell you and I will block my eyes and she can mouth it too you, great I say but peanut did not think so the technician could not tell the sex as the umbilical cord was running between peanuts legs, so after finally getting a 12th hour reprieve and being able to know, now I will have to wait till the birth maybe it was just not ment to be.

Next week i will have rebeeca writing an entry so she can tell you some stuff from her point of view
