The big race

Well tomorrow is the day have to head for Melbourne ( 2.3-3 hours away 250 kilometers) tomorrow Morning for my interview which is not till 4 pm which I was pretty shitty about as I had planned to get up early and go and hoped to get an interview at around midday so we could be back early but that's not going to happen as now we will run into peak hour traffic so that gave us a chance to go see Scott and Rachel our good friend who live in Melbourne well furntree Gully a suburb of Melbourne so we will probably not get home before 9-10pm now.

Summer is defiantly on the way here today is our first forecast day of over 30 degree's heat and tomorrow is ment to be the same I guess if I go To Ireland I wont have to worry about 30 degree days anymore.

The 5 Million Dollar Emirates Melbourne Cup is on today its the race that stops a nation and most of the country its a public Holiday. The Melbourne cup is the premier distance race in world and attracts horses from all over the globe, except The USA really because the Breeders Cup is on at the same time. Well I am backing the Irish horse ( mayber a good omen) Vinnie Roe trained by Dermot Weld who is only trainer from overseas to ever win the race and he has done it twice. Vinnie Roe has run in the Melbourne cup 4 times and has placed second twice so here is hoping the Vinnie wins today
