The Australian Soccerroos last night qualifield for the World Cup in Germany next year We beat Uruguay in Sydney in front of 83,000 fans at telstra Stadium.
It Has been 32 long years since our only other qualification to the world cup which was also held in Germany.
Marco Bresciano of Parma Fc scored the telling goal in the 34 minute to level the 2 match series 1-1 then the game went to extra time and finally won on penalties 4-2.
